It is supposed to change the client host name. Will it make the change? Have never tried.
Also, static IP addresses are assigned at the client. The router DHCP will do a manually assigned address.

It allows the person to set a different, or custom, name for the client device other than what the router initially identifies for the client device. That host name should be reflected in places like the Network Map.

Personally I use Host Name entries on all my manual IP reservations. Makes it easier to identify the devices over what the router sometimes selects for the client name.

Host name is the name device is seen in network?
Yes. It is a name that's resolvable by any client through DNS. e.g. nslookup printer1

If I give a host name I do not have to name devicces in network map?
No, not unless you want to use a more descriptive "client name" just for use in the router's webUI. e.g hostname = "printer1" vs. client name = "Marketing HP Laser Printer".

Its advisable assign host names to static Ip defined devices, or it can bring problems?
It's your choice whether you manually assign a host name. Usually there's no reason to because the client provides it's own host name. Either way it won't cause a problem.

Up to you. See how the router (or client) identifies itself in the Network Map and other areas and decide if its acceptable or not. Personally I assign a Host Name for all my manual IP reservations (both main LAN and Guest Network Pro clients) because sometimes the default name the client or router provides is meaningless, or duplicates of similar devices, or just gibberish. YMMV and all that.
