System log, no entries for web UI logins

New Around Here
I can't see any System Log entries for my web UI logins from LAN, nor for my intentionally failed attempts (wrong user/pwd). Is this normal?

I have "Default message log level -> debug" and "Log only messages more urgent than -> all". These were set to be increasingly permissive, starting with the defaults. Running the latest non-beta Merlin FW (380.64_2) on a RT-AC66U, and have done a factory default restore and JFFS re-format.

Thanks!

The ASUS OEM firmware and Merlin don't log webui logons.....so yes, it's normal.

Thanks for the quick answer, John. Reading on the forums about compromised routers recently, I looked for access entries of any kind in the logs, and it didn't look right that there were none.
