TUF-AX5400 stuck at installing firmware

Hello!

I have a TUF-AX5400 and it is on firmware 3.0.0.4.386_49873

I downloaded the latest version 3.0.0.4.388_24121 from ASUS official page. When I try to update it from webGUI it gets stuck immediately saying "please wait, applying settings"

Have tried restoring to factory default settings and also tried using different browsers (chrome and firefox), all with same results..

Would really appreciate any help!!

Try disconnecting the router from everything except the WAN and wired admin PC, reboot it to free up memory, get a fresh download file for the subject router model and confirm the file check sum (integrity)... and try uploading it manually again.

Going from 3.0.0.4.386 to 3.0.0.4.388 is a big step. Try installing the oldest available firmware (3.0.0.4.388.21224) first and then updating to 3.0.0.4.388_24121 after.
