TUV-AX3000 V2 no update?

New Around Here
Hello and welcome

ASUS TUF-AX3000 V2 does not have new firmware from 2023. Does anyone know when he will get it? I understand that I can use Tomato or Gnuton Firmware, but is there anyone who can guarantee me that it will be possible to switch the 2.5GB port from Wan to Lan like I have now? I use it for Synology DS218+ with the ASUS USB-C2500 network card.

What worries me is that a fairly new router has no support even though it doesn't END OF LIFE

Another complaining Customer... says ASUS.

Hi mate. ASUS hired to many not very professionals so that they have a really huge delay in delivery process. I'm the same complainer as you but reg. ZenWiFi ET12.
Just sit and wait. Maybe one day they'll push some updates, just like last week, almost every router got an urgent security fix.
Or...
Just change the vendor. But, I still think that ASUS routers are still the most balanced devices in terms of software stability/usabiliy/features and hardware.

Hey. Thanks for your reply. Well, I don't want to change Asus. I also think that the value for money is very good. I'm just worried about the fact that a router newer than AX3000 without V2 gets the update and a newer V2 - NO

How do you switch the 2.5GB port from WAN to LAN on Asus TUF AX3000v2?
Is it the stock Asus firmware?

Oh my god, I figured it out finally.
For others like me - it's in Dual WAN menu, but you leave Dual WAN OFF, just select LAN1 as a Primary WAN. (Also it should be in Router mode, not AccessPoint).
Thanks!

I'm glad you found it. It actually took me some time. What is most misleading is ASUS itself, writing in the WAN specification of 2.5 GB of Asus 3000 V2. But it does not write WAN/LAN 2.5GB and this is misleading. Users are unaware that it has a 2.5GB LAN - if they need it
