Hi. I currently don't have uiDivstats loaded. Is it possible to install the latest dev version (caching mode) option? I'm keen to give it a try. I saw the: uidivstats develop command in an earlier post, but I don't know how to use that. In other words, outside of the AMTM menuing system, I'm pretty blind.

Thanks,
Anton

So before you go into "AMTM" using the AMTM command, you just put the uidivstats develop command there.

This is what happens when I do that.

Code:
/usr/sbin/curl --retry 3 "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jackyaz/uiDivStats/develop/uiDivStats.sh" -o "/jffs/scripts/uiDivStats" && chmod 0755 /jffs/scripts/uiDivStats && /jffs/scripts/uiDivStats install
Thank you, that worked perfectly!

I have installed and turned on the Cache switch. I haven't changed out or otherwise altered my USB drive.

Appreciated,
Anton

Same here.. I am thinking that the USB sticks I had, had a manufacturing defect ... thanks gain.
Yeah... very likely - I cannot emphasis that enough. USB sticks are not meant for these types of workloads.

So here's the UGREEN I've used 2x now $17 USD -> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D2BHVBD/?tag=snbforums-20

Any any good quality SSD ->
SS/SSD 250GB $60 -> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07864WMK8/?tag=snbforums-20
Crucial 250GB $50 -> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0781VSXBP/?tag=snbforums-20

It does not have to be new. I used an older 80GB Intel, one of the first SSD I owned.. been working flawlessly for 4+ years now. Good way to get yourself a SSD upgrade. ;) Peace. Stay Safe!

Hi,

First off, a big thanks for your efforts and excellent script(s)!

I have an issue with latest version of uiDivStats. Today I logged on to the router and started amtm and when entering j5 from the amtm main menu the below happened. When the process had hung I exited with Ctrl-C:

Note that i did not go into the amtm update menu, the update started automatically when I entered j5 from the amtm main menu. I then started uiDivStats which had now been updated to version 2.1.0. Just to be safe, I entered u to see if uiDivStats would report another version beeing available, but it said I was running the latest version. I then pressed 1 to generate stats and this happened:

Choose an option: 1

awk: cmd. line:1: Division by zero
uiDivStats: Stats updated successfully

Press enter to continue...
The uiDivStats-tab was not populated with stats after this (and hadn't been for awhile hence my effort to trya nd fix it)). I then did a uf to force an update, just in case anything went wrong earlier (which is how I interpret the errors earlier), but it still said v2.1.0 was the latest and greatest. Tried again to force stats generation, but got the same error as above.

I then uninstalled uiDivStats through its own menu. I noticed that the folder uiDivStats.d was deleted from /jffs/addons, so it seemed it was uninstalled correctly. I then tried to install uiDivStats from amtm menu and got this:

Enter option j5

Have you updated the Entware packages? On the main amtm menu, does 'u' show any updates available?

2.2.0 is the develop version which you installed when running the manual install command i posted recently.

division by 0 suggests stats aren't making it into the database. what does:
Code:
/opt/etc/init.d/S90taildns check
ps | grep taildns

show?

Depending on the actual time 'yesterday', it may have downloaded a few corrupted files (Entware has been down and just went 'live' again a little bit earlier today).

Try updating Entware again (the server is working properly now). :)

Yeah, I read something about that in some thread here, but id doesn't seem to recognize any new package updates:

Strange, if I widened my terminal window, more texted showed up. Thought putty would adjust to window size, always has done that before. Anyways:

Code:
XXXX@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# ps | grep taildns

Hm OK the process does seem to be running. What do you see if you run?:
Code:
tail -F /opt/var/log/dnsmasq.log /opt/var/log/dnsmasq.log3 | /jffs/addons/uiDivStats.d/taildns.d/dnsmasqtotal.awk

Hold on! Now, I don't get an error when forcing a stat update (1 in uiDivStats menu). However, no stats are shown on the web-page. Time seemed to have fixed some parts of it...

Code:
Choose an option:    1

uiDivStats: Stats updated successfully

Press enter to continue...
EDIT: The "/bin/sh /jffs/scripts/uiDivStats querylog" entries are not shown under htop anymore...
