Upgrading Firmware Problem

jld368

New Around Here
I recently bought an AC66U and put on Merlin's 3.0.0.4.372.30 firmware. No problems. Today, I downloaded and upgraded the firmware with the ASUS 3.0.0.4.372 that was just released.

Now I can't access the router at 192.168.1.1 to see the settings. I get a message like: "Safari can't open the page at http://192.168.1.1 because Safari can't connect to the server at 192.168.1.1"

I had been connecting thru HTTPS and now when I try the link I had saved, I get "Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh. Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC66U. To access the settings of RT-AC66U, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number."

Help!

Yeah happens all of the time. Go to the Safari preferences, Privacy, Cookies website data -> manage data

Delete the cookies for the server 192...... (your router). Should work after that
