hello

I need to send the vendor class identifier to my provider, tomato or dd-wrt I use -V "xxxxxxxxx" and it works

asus merlin wrt (manual clientid) in it does not work, can you help me thank you ?

Asus recently changed their dhcp client, so it's not as straightforward as back when they were using the same dhcp client as Tomato.

Whats about this idea now?
It is very necessary feature.

PS And what correct udhcpc command with -V option for your firmware?

Thx, but what about support this feather in Merlin firmware?
And what about right udhcpc command?
What is wrong here? ("vlan2: No such process" cause wan0 status is "disconnected")
/tmp$ udhcpc -b -i vlan2 -p /var/run/udhcpc2.pid -V sml7105-rt
udhcpc (v1.20.2) started
vlan2: No such process

You need to provide more information about your setup.

What router are you using?
What firmware version.
How are you connected to the internet (i.e. cable, 3g USB modem, etc.)
Where did you get this command from (udhcpc -b -i vlan2 -p /var/run/udhcpc2.pid -V sml7105-rt)?

I`m sorry.
N66U, of course. 3.0.0.4.374.36_beta1-sdk5.
DualWan mode. Wan as wan0, lan4 as wan1.
Wan0 (vlan2) connect to ISP router at lan4 with IPTV only.
Wan1 (vlan3) connect to ISP router at lan1 with Internet only.
ISP DHCP demand specific VendorId for lease IP-adress. Elsewhere IP-adress is not lease. This command via SSH do it.

Sorry, I don't have a setup anything like that to compare it with.

Just for info, what do you currently get when you issue this command:
Code:
# ps w | grep udhcpc
