Hi,
I have the AC87U and I have it setup on a VPN client with PIA.
In the Adaptive QoS tab I enabled the app analyzer
Problem is that the VPN download traffic is indicated as "UPLOAD" on the Meter
and the Local ISP download traffic is indicated correctly as "DOWNLOAD" on the Meter
So how can that be?
The only way the adaptive QOS will work is if everything is on Local ISP.
It will not work when using both Local ISP and VPN services, because the downloads don't match.
one service reads as an upload while the other service is a download.
The rules are fighting each other, therefore not working right.
It will not work if one is on a VPN because it sees the VPN traffic as an upload and not a download. so the rules cannot apply properly once again.
Is this a bug? Is there some fix for this?
I am using the latest 380.57 Merlin firmware.
