Vulnerability Protection blocking forwarded port

Just discovered that having Vulnerability Protection on blocks my ability to monitor security cameras via a forwarded port. The port is visible to canyouseeme though. This may have started (not sure, but it's recent) with 380.61. Is there a way to add an exception? How much will I be missing by just leaving VP off?
