My download speed on 5GHz is very bad now. I have a 500/200Mbps fiber connection, and an Intel 7260AC card. My dl speed was about 350-400Mbps, when it was okay and worked perfectly, but for now (about 3 months) I cannot achieve a download speed above ~130-140Mbps. upload is okay (~210Mbps). Tried every settings (another channels, modes, fw-s) but nothing helped. I've noticed my tx rate is very low, and something is not okay here. Can anybody help me with this problem? Thanks!

PS.: Wired dl/ul speeds are both okay.

Which firmware? Did you do a factory reset? Are you using default WIFI settings or did you mess with them?

No matters which firmware I use. I was on the factory one when it has started it's shirt, but I tried Merlin and HGG, and all has the same results. Yes, I always make a factory/NVRAM reset, when I do install a new firmware. No I'm not messing any (advanced) setting, I just tried another channels, or (channel) modes, like auto-80MHz only mode, etc. No change.

Placement of the router is key since the 5ghz is a weaker signal cant penetrate walls that good etc, so a valid question is have you changed anything in your environment ?

Nothing has changed, 5GHz is still pretty clean (I'm the only one using this freq), the router is about 2 meters away from the notebook in the same room, no walls or any obstacles there. As I said nothing problem with the upload, if something is jamming my signal it should be affecting the upload speed too right?
