When I enable OpenVPN client it kills my IPV6 routes

I am having an issue where anytime I establish a OpenVPN connection my IPV6 routes stops routing.

Is there some sort of configuration I am missing??? Please advice

Mind you I am NOT *NOT* trying to route IPV6 traffic through the VPN connect.
