Does anyone have an explanation for exactly what the "Allow DNS" setting does in the Wireguard server settings? I haven't been able to find an actual description for this setting.
Thanks,

The wording "Allow DNS" implies that the router is not forcing anything. The DNS is in the wg config file according to your settings in the gui. If your client dont use that its a problem with the client, not the router. This setting would only allow the router itself to answer dns, if you dont want to use the router as dns, this setting wouldnt do anything. With "Allow DNS" enabled and with my clients connecting remotely over Wireguard, they appear to not use the internal DNS servers that non-VPN'd clients use. This is resulting in my local pihole not being used by remote Wireguard clients which is a pity, and I don't see any method to configure it on my Pro ET12.
