I want to add printer to static dhcp table, but router can't display this device mac
Have you configured the printer to wirelessly connect to your wifi network?I want to add printer to static dhcp table, but router can't display this device mac
Yes, printer work, but in dhcp config, printer not show in devices tableHave you configured the printer to wirelessly connect to your wifi network?
Is the printer actually a DHCP client or have you set the IP address manually on the printer?Yes, printer work, but in dhcp config, printer not show in devices table
If you know the printer's wireless MAC address you can just type it into the the router. It doesn't need to be selected from the drop down list.
I would have thought so but maybe not if he has configured the printer manually, hence my question. Also, I think the drop down list is populated by the Network Map and there have been multiple reports of that sometimes not working properly since it's gone closed-source.If the printer is configured to join the existing network, it should show up, right?
