On a BE92U router running Merlin I found that since 3/26 - the date I downloaded and installed Merlin 3006.102.7_2, there are no more wlceventd log messages indicating client authorize / deauthorize events. Not even wlceventd messages indicating service start at bootup. Even with log level at 8 and message_loglevel at 7.
I checked another BE92U router running stock and found that the router up[dated to WRT firmware 3.0.0.6.102_39061 at 2:30am on 4/12. Before this update, wlceventd messages appeared in the log. Since this WRT update, they stopped appearing in the logs.
I checked an old ASUS AX55 router running 3.0.0.4.386_53327 and wlceventd log messages do appear there.
Any ideas what's going on?
What I do still see is: hostapd and dnsmasq-dhcp messages for each client disconnect/reconnect.
I couldn't figure out whether to post in Merlin or WRT forum since it appears to happen with both.
