Well, my RT-AC68U's log had this again:

Jun 30 10:46:52 WAN Connection: ISP's DHCP did not function properly.
Jun 30 10:46:52 stop_nat_rules: apply the redirect_rules!
Jun 30 10:46:57 WAN Connection: WAN was restored.
Jun 30 10:46:57 start_nat_rules: apply the nat_rules(/tmp/nat_rules_eth0_eth0)!

But, I wasn't present then to see what happened with my internet connection. Any way to determine if this is a Router or an ISP issue?

Only use wired mode with IPv6 disabled.

I am not sure if it is a bug or not, as I don't have 802.3ad capable device before 380.60 beta.
Now when I enabled 802.3ad on ac88u, the load average will be constantly >1 while CPU usage is mostly >95% idle. Is there anything I should worry about?

If you're not doing LAG, then disable it...

Hello! This is router. I have RT-AC68U and I see the same strings in my logs.

Hello!
I cannot fix my problem with beta 2.
But I found some more details. Internet stops working after reboot router without any changes. I have completed Setup Wizard and then reboot router.
I have compared network setup before and after reboot.
Before reboot: start_nat_rules: apply the nat_rules(/tmp/nat_rules_eth0_eth0)!
After reboot: start_nat_rules: apply the nat_rules(/tmp/nat_rules_vlan2_vlan2)!

As I understand there are some changes in VLANs and IpTables.
Before reboot:
admin@RT-AC68U-80D8:/tmp/home/root# robocfg show
Switch: enabled
Port 0: 1000FD enabled stp: none vlan: 2 jumbo: off mac: fc:e3:3c:e8:ef:7e

After reboot:

58: vlan58: 0t 5t 8t
59: vlan59: 1 2t 5 7
60: vlan60: 0 1 2
61: vlan61: 0 1t 3t 4 5t 8t
62: vlan62: 4 5
As you can see there are differences in VLAN1 and VLAN2.
Very important question:
What settings should I change to make Internet works?

Not important questions:
What is 5t in VLANs means? Which script generate WLAN 56-62? Where those VLANs are used?

IPv6 seems still not work with all providers. My WAN interface ppp0 does not get an ipv6 address. Also no gateway is set. With the Router coming from the provider IPv6 is working without any problem.

Br0 interface and my LAN clients are getting an IPv6 global address. But because the router has no IP and gateway there is no IPv6 internet traffic.

Why beta 1 ? why not beta 2 :)
Just have not got around to it. Things are working and I read there are only 2 changes. I am coming from an rt-n66u running shibby so I want to see this work for a while.

Had the same thing reported on my fork....try without any extensions. In the case I had reported, Norton Security Toolbar was messing up the display.

With .60b2 (did not test on .58/.59) PPTP VPN server on the AC68 router, remote access only gives limited access to my internal network. It connects fine but no internal addresses are accessible.

When I use my Synology as PPTP VPN server (forwarding port 1723 to the LAN address of the Syno) all works fine, internal LAN addresses are accessible. Configuration is nothing different between both servers, only difference is that Asus has the IP range set to 192.168.10.x, the Synology uses 10.0.0.x.

Any ideas?

PS: Syno VPN has my preference since it supports IP blocking :)

try changing NAT Loopback in the firewall to the other mode (Merlin/Asus)

very high NVRAM usage in asus rt-ac3200? flashed 380.60 beta2 over stock firmware...do the factory reset and all settings step by step manualy....is this normal for ac 3200?

This is what my AC5300 looks like using 380.58

I also had the "Network cable unplugged" message and required a reboot to restore. First time I never seen this.

I also had the "Network cable unplugged" message and required a reboot to restore external connectivity. Running AC56U with beta 2.
Update: Beta2 has been rock solid for a few days now. Having no known issues and logs looks clean/normal I think.

I've been using Beta 2 since it posted on my 88u router. Its been rock solid until today, when both 2.4 an d5 ghz bands dropped on all clients. Rebooting the router solved the problem. When I checked the logs, there were no issues reported. They were clean during the lockup, and then showed the reboot sequence. Everything is fine now.

I'm currently on the latest fork by John as I wanted to try it and have tried repeatedly to flash the beta, through the ui as well as the cfe miniweb server. While I'd get success messages per flash, whenever I log into the firmware, I'd find that I'm still on John's fork. I'm currently on an Asus RT-AC68U with CFE v.1.0.2.0 and was wondering if the version has any impact on my (in)ability to flash the beta. Thank you.
