Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Thanks. This seems to only effect inbound connection requests. I have it set to Both to see both those accepted and those rejected. Does not show outbound connection requests, which I saw on my old router. I do have a reason for wanting to log this information, it allows me to track who might...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

I just upgraded from an AC87U running ancient Merlin to an AX86U Pro. Although I do see inbound connections logged in the system log, I'm not seeing outbound connections. Am I missing something? Have I forgotten something I configured on the AC87U that enabled that? Thanks.

I like that feature, and don't need AiMesh because I use wired APs. So we offset...

    Best choice for access point?

As I said, the e3000 is dying, dropping WiFi connections. I did run an e3000 as the router, but it was too slow to keep up with my 150 Mbit Internet connection.

    Best choice for access point?

I have a Linksys e3000 running dd-wrt as an access point that is dying. Main router is an 87u on 380.60 B2. What's my best choice for something as an access point running Merlin? I do need it to step up to 802.11ac. Thanks! Eric

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.57 is now available

I think eddiez has pretty much covered it. Feel free to not do the reset and see how it works for you, but if there are problems, I'd suggest doing the reset.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

Simple answer - if you don't like it, don't use it. You can use the ASUS code. Or you can build your own. I'm guessing you haven't donated, so you aren't out any money...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.54_2 is now available

I, on the other hand, have many more fixed DHCPs and no fixed IPs. Maybe a option choice to choose the behavior?

    Looking for feedback: Traffic Analyzer

When changing from Daily/Weekly/Monthly, the apps pie chart label changes, but the data doesn't. If you change Display for to Apps, and then change Show by, the display reverts to what Display for Router would show, although Apps is still selected. Changing to Apps, and then changing All...

    Looking for feedback: Traffic Analyzer

Progressively gets slower and slower, to the point of taking 45 seconds for the initial screen to populate, I probably had about 3-4 weeks of data at that point.

It would only encourage others... :-(

Similar oddities on the 87U. It's still a work in progress for Asus.

Even that is a bit of a crap shoot. DNS servers are seeing the extra "attention" from tests like DNSBench, and it looks like they are implementing throttling if they see what they believe is too much activity from a site.

Not weird. They are two different IP networks, so just like they have different addresses, they can have different subnet masks.
