Pardons if this has already been proposed. I've had this issue with my AC86U and this is how I got around it. I did a manual update of the firmware even if it was current. After that the check worked fine.

Apparently it's related to the RT-AC68P router or a configuration option that is unrelated to AiProtection? I would sure like to know what's going on!

I'm on 384.6. My router is RT-AC68P. If I turn off email notifications I stop receiving events in the GUI. Worked fine until 384.5. WTH? At the time this thread was started, I wasn't the only one reporting this issue.

I'm wondering why no body has provided an explanation for this: Ever since 384.5, email notifications must be on (even if those notifications don't make it through the Gmail system). Prior to 384.5, email notifications did not need to be turned on to see AiProtection events.

Update: A few days ago I turned on email alerts and now I am seeing hits. However, I have yet to received any emails.

Add me to those who no longer see new AiProtection events after updating to 384.5. Previously on 384.4_2 I was getting daily hits for "Malicious Sites" and "Two-Way IPS". RT-AC68P Router with email notifications turned off.

I have a similar situation/question on my Windows 10 (ver 1803) and RT-AC68P (384.4_2). Share doesn't work using SMBv1 + SMBv2 but works using SMBv1 only. Not a big deal for me but curious.

I think you're right. Probably needs to be selective, not the entire group.

Same here! There is no "Regulation Mode" on my RT-AC68P running 384.4_2.

FYI: I notice that there is an "Enable wireless scheduler" option under the Wireless/Professional tab. Might this be a better option than turning on parental controls?
