Large property with multiple structures... and a bunch of over the counter gaming routers with RGB. @ComputerSteve, hire a professional to build a proper network for your needs. How much more money you are willing to lose on experiments with DIY consumer "mesh"?

Sometimes behind what Asus puts out.
That is incorrect. The GPL code I receive is almost always newer than what most of their last firmware releases were based on. At worst it will be the very same version. But it will never be older than their latest firmware release.

You just said it yourself almost just like I said sometimes.

Latest firmware for my model is 39260 and your last merge is based on 39099.

GPL available on the site is 39125.

Unless you are saying the GPL numbering is off.

At least with newest stock firmware for the rt-ax86u pro, they fixed the weird upnp bug that was happening. Hopefully it gets fixed soon on Merlin firmware. Probably something weird on there end on the gpl releases.
Nvm it’s still broken. At least port forwarding fixes it.

Latest firmware for your model was released last month, and the last GPL that I received for that model was back in October. So of course I would expect that firmware to be based off newer code than last October.

You said "sometimes behind", and that's not true. I said almost always newer, because when it's not newer, it will be the same version. But it will never be behind.

This is why I asked about the GPL numbering be off.

Are you saying that the GPL 39099 you have from October 2025 and the GPL 39125 from December 2025 are the same?
Merlin merged 39099 on October 18, while the latest Asus firmware for the BE86U on that date was 3.0.0.6.102_38984 and the latest Asus GPL for the BE86U was 3.0.0.6.102_37174.

Key/certs that are required will be. The static key will only be generated if :

1) You enable a mode that requires one (tls-auth/tls-crypt/tls-crypt-v2
2) There isn't already an existing static key of the correct type

Key/certs are generated at server start. That's why the server must already be up and running in tls-crypt v2 mode before you can generate client keys from the webui.
Is it possible to use 'ecdh-curve prime256v1'. Using selfgenerated keys

I'm not. What I'm saying is that I got that GPL code before 39125 even existed.

slow speeds (GUI) & throughput, general instability with the latest alpha, GT AX-6000. Dirty flash from 107_2, I'll factory reset with alpha 2 and try again

This alpha works here without any hiccup for one week now.
