300Mbps AV500 WiFi Powerline Extender experience?

So I was going to buy a Powerline adapter and a ac router to extend my wifi. How about the is bad boy? http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/cat-18_TL-WPA4220.html. This seems like this is the perfect solution. Is it?

This isn't ac tech. I can't find any that are. All n. Do you know of any???

Bear in mind that in power line IP, as in WiFi, the marketing people hype Mbps speeds that are the low level medium (wireless, power line) burst rate whereas the net yield at TCP/IP layer is far less.

You are correct, this is 802.11n.

This TP-Link device is from the previous generation in terms of the Powerline technology and Wireless technology.

You are right that it there doesn't seem to be too many Powerline devices with 802.11ac. I only know of one such device; Devolo dLan 1200+ WiFi ac which has pretty much everything that you are looking for, however they only make these devices (as far as I know) for the European markets.

Worth checking out regardless.
