https just times out for me with KL5

The github page says:
Code:
View stats page at http://pixelservip/servstats.txt (parsable text format) or http://pixelservip/servstats (html format). 'https' will also work and 'pixelservip' is the address pixelserv-tls listen for incoming connections. A sample output is here.
But maybe that has changed.

Yeah, I doubt that @shooter40sw runs the kl test version.
I believe ps stats over https is a ways out.

Yes http does work, no issues, but https://myip shouldn't show a blank web page instead of the error?
If you mean that the 'https://myip' should show a blank page like 'http://myip' that is probably true.
I thought you were saying that pixelsrv did not work at all !!!

The Why and or How on this is down to kvic, perhaps you could raise a request for this with him.

What's on that IP? Your pixelserv IP is .3
yes is on 192.168.1.3, I miss typed
My question is not that I want to see the stats over HTTPS, I view the stats on normal http

If pixelserv works on port 80 and 443, and I go to http://192.168.1.3 it give me blank web page
If I go to https://1992.168.1.3 must give me the same result yes? well it gives me the certificate error that I showed above

It does not show anything on https unless it contains some extra info for ps to process.
This has always been so.
If the stats page works, so does ps.

Thats why I raised the question, if it is not supposed to show anything, in my installation I get the
Code:
Can’t connect securely to this page
This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.

I'd say thats a browser problem, search for that error on your favorite search engine, maybe someone has a solution for it.

hi all,
im using AB-solution since start of the project and I never asked a question but there could be an extra furure if possible
the site www.googleadservices.com is blocked so you can not click on a google add link.
the strange thing is if you look at the link most of the time the website is the last part of the link.

Example:
https://www.googleadservices.com/pa...1nd?channel_code=993&s2m_product_id=372526760

The requested website of the link is:
https://www.expert.nl/hp-14-ax011nd?channel_code=993&s2m_product_id=372526760

It can be found in the last part of the link

The question:
can someone make an script thats running on a local webserver (router) that "decodes" the link
so that the ad links work again without google's knowledge?
router ip could be 192.168.1.1
pixelsrv-tls is on 192.168.1.2
and decoder script in on 192.168.1.3

Is this possible???

I whitelisted googleadservices.com because I like clicking on the top google search result because of laziness.

Yes I know but it would be more convince if it was a little bit more anonymous

It happens with all my browsers, it gives me a TLS or security related issue, I tested on Windows 10, with EDGE and Chrome, on android with chrome and iOS with Safari, even though I dont have ads, it does not seem to work well with the https sites for me., I will search around. thanks

It's possible, but not on your router. This requires much beefier hardware and software that does Deep Packet inspection.

There are browser addons/extensions that remove affiliate links in the rendered web page. Search for it.

Could be Bitdefender, Avast, Kaspersky:

https://www.reddit.com/r/techsuppor..._ssl_version_or_cipher_mismatch_cant_connect/

Thanks for the help and support, but I dont think this is antivirus related, because I tested in iPad Safari, same error, and I just tried in firefox but in xubuntu 17.10 to rule out antivirus

giving me this error
SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP
I did a quick search on the web and the recommendation is to use SSL3 or other outdated cypher, I´ll test later but I tested this with windows and did not work either.

I even purged the certs in pixelserv with the same results.
Regards

Website migration is under way

ab-solution.info moves to a new server, from IP 80.74.156.155 to 80.74.145.140.
If you no longer see the announcement on the website, your are viewing ab-solution.info on the new server.
The DNS propagation will take about 24 hours worldwide, 2 hours in Switzerland.

Note that the secure website over HTTPS will not be available on the new server until I can properly enable the SSL certificate on it.

Uhh, something went wrong, probably my error. I've contacted my Hosting Center.

Edit: I see, I had ab-solution.info as inactive domain still on the old-old Server on IP 80.74.145.2.
This is fixed now and really should not have been a problem. My Hoster will manually update their DNS to point to the new IP.
Should not take too long, I hope.
