[AC3100] [380.57a] Problem accessing login

Kit Drago

New Around Here
I recently arrived at this forum via the ASUSWRT-MERLIN page. I was having problems with my AC3100 randomly rebooting and from what I could tell it was a bug in the asus firmware and people were recommending merlin to update to. So I figured why not.

Upgrade went well, everything is running, reboots seem to have stopped. The only problem I am having is that I can ONLY access the web interface for the router using safari on my ipad. Sitting on my PC, I get the message

Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.
Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC3100.
To access the settings of RT-AC3100, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number.

Nothing I have done will show me the login page. Ive run out of ideas to try and figure it out. I could use some advice.

Not sure what the issue is but i also have the 3100 using Merlin alpha 4 and have never once had your issue with Chrome, IE or Safari. It must be something in your local environment.

I got the same issue with the latest alpha4 (380.57_alpha4-gb5eb46f)

"Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.
Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC68u"...

Clearing web browser cache(firefox), power cycle router, reboot PC . And finally clearing Nvram(wps button trick)and i was able to log in. I have made some tests and flashing last week-end between 378.56_2 and both alpha4 releases and only alpha4-gb5eb46f gave me this message twice.
No problems with the first alpha 4 (380.57_alpha4-gf1feccb)

I'm a bit new at not using factory firmware on routers (androids, etc sure). Could you point me at the directions for the Nvram was button trick?

I would agree, but nothing I have done has cleared it. Tablet can access, other computers, just not mine. :)
