I'm trying to set up my email in AMTM (i > em) ... I set it with an app password as I have 2FA enabled on my outlook account.

Code:
1. Edit From address: xxxx@outlook.com
  2. Edit To name: xxxx xxxx
  3. Edit To address: xxxx@outlook.com
  4. Edit Router name: RT-AX88U
  5. Edit User name: admin
  6. Edit Password: select Edit to view
  7. Edit SMTP Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com
  8. Edit Server port: 587
  9. Edit Protocol: smtp
10. Edit SSL flag: Set to --insecure if curl problems occur
11. Send testmail to confirm settings

When I select 11, testmail, I receive the following message:

Code:
curl: (67) Login denied

 sending testmail failed

Note the curl: error above and check your settings

Does anyone have any insight into this?

Change option 5 'user name' to your from(login) address eg. xxxx@outlook.com

Also you can change 9 to smtps

Thanks for that, I got it to work with Gmail and using your suggestions.

Code:
  1. Edit From address: user@gmail.com
  2. Edit To name: Some Person
  3. Edit To address: user@outlook.com
  4. Edit Router name: RT-AX88U
  5. Edit User name: user@gmail.com
  6. Edit Password: select Edit to view (application-specific password used)
  7. Edit SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
  8. Edit Server port: 465
  9. Edit Protocol: smtps
 10. Edit SSL flag: Set to --insecure if curl problems occur
 11. Send testmail to confirm settings

New Around Here
With my gmail account I use 2FA with the Authy App (which is time based).
I am assuming this won't work when setting up email settings in amtm, is this correct?

No, you need to set up an app password for the router to use if 2FA is enabled.
