Hi,
I ownled one of the DSL ASUS Routers and I have noticed something stange happening on it.
When DSL cable is unplugged, the Power LED either slowly flashesh or it flashesh then it looks like LED goes off for a few seconds then comes back on, when this happened, it looked like router have froze because I tried plugging in LAN cable into various ports to get a connection but nothing was happening, no connection and no LED indicating it too. After the reboot, I got the LAN connection, however, it have disconnected itself once and connected back on again.
I haven't done anything to the router itself, no firmware upgrades or entering a rescue mode. The only thing I did was restoring/backing up a config file and that's about it. I worry that this router might be faulty due to the above behaviour. From my research online, flashing power LED would indicate firmware that is corrupted or a rescue mode which none of those things is possible because I haven't done any firmware upgrades or entered any modes due to my knowledge. I also can access admin page normally. I might have hold a reset button for longer than it's needed so not sure if that could do anything.
Any thoughts ?
