New Around Here
Router: ASUS GS-BE 12000
Modem: BGW320-505
We switched to the ASUS router from an amplifi gamers edition. We also have AT&T fiber 1GB plan. It has gone amazing , however, the biggest pain point has been random disconnects , usually solved with unplugging both router/ modem and plugging back in. Works perfectly no issues and then randomly , could be a day or few days later, the same thing happens. Have to reset router/modem and works like nothing has happened.
Below is the last few days
4-2-26: WiFi network showed no internet connection. Router/modem reset. Issue solved.
4-6-26: WiFi network was working, randomly disconnected from my phone and I had to go manually and reconnect to to my network. Internet was working.
4-10-26: WiFi network showed no internet connection. Router/modem reset. Issue solved.
4-11-26: WiFi network showed no internet connection. Router/modem reset. Issue solved.
4-21-26: WiFi network showed no internet connection. Router/modem reset. Issue solved.
Mind you, this is just for April. Happened a few times in march (router purchased early march)
And each instance is one time, it hasn’t happened more than once on that date.
Any ideas what this could be? Do I need to get a different router brand? I don’t want to I like this one and hoping it’s just a wrong setting somewhere. Do I need to open a claim with ASUS for a new one?
I appreciate your help!
