After flashing this firmware, when I restored to defaults there is a preset MAC address in the MAC Clone field, it should be blank...

edit: I just noticed it was the MAC of one of my NAS drives... how in the world is that getting auto set in the MAC clone field after a restore to defaults?

Hi,
The Media Server problem still wasn't resolved.
I introduced an HDD in USB 3.0. When I select Manual Media Server Path and when I choose Media Server Directory a blank page appears.
Is it a bug or something ?

Performed a hard reset today and reconfigured the router - still getting the same errors in the logs:

Jun 5 15:00:59 DualWAN: skip single wan wan_led_control - WANRED off
Jun 5 15:00:59 stop_nat_rules: apply the redirect_rules!

Jun 5 15:02:47 WAN Connection: ISP's DHCP did not function properly.

Jun 5 15:06:10 DualWAN: skip single wan wan_led_control - WANRED off
Jun 5 15:06:10 stop_nat_rules: apply the redirect_rules!

Double checked to ensure DualWAN was disabled so unsure why getting this error.

5G performance seems worse too with the testing I've been doing with my Sony Z3, over the past couple of days.

Upgraded to the 3.0.0.4.380_3459-gfbf1f06 firmware on June 8. Since then I am having similar issues to what was noted above. I am receiving the following errors in the system log:

Jun 10 12:59:34 WAN Connection: ISP's DHCP did not function properly.
Jun 10 12:59:34 DualWAN: skip single wan wan_led_control - WANRED off
Jun 10 12:59:34 stop_nat_rules: apply the redirect_rules!
Jun 10 13:00:47 WAN Connection: WAN was restored.
Jun 10 13:00:47 start_nat_rules: apply the nat_rules(/tmp/nat_rules_eth0_eth0)!

I have several devices wired with cat-6 to the router, and all of those seem to cause the above errors. It has been bad enough to cause the router to crash. The router was rock solid before the upgrade, and nothing else in my network topology has changed.

Bug Introduced

Web interface broken horribly on Safari 9.1.1 (Latest Version) Mac (Bandwidth Limiter cannot save lists, odd quirks when trying to turn on QoS, Port Forwarding and other lists not saved.

Recommendation

Downgrade to prior firmware (oh wait...)

This is a different firmware. What router do you have?

No idea what Asus have done to this firmware but it is well borked! - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Router keeps crashing every couple of days since updating to this new firmware, and has to be rebooted manually. FFS Asus - I've never had as problematic a router as this one.

You could have at least performed some extensive testing especially bearing in mind we are now stuck and can't 'downgrade' to older stable firmware.

I've yet to have my 3200 truly stable.. only eventually got it more or less stable by setting up automated reboots twice a week.. kind of annoying. As a result, I'm holding off updating till feel safe.

Uptime 9 days 1 hours 36 minute(s) 29 seconds. 78MB ram in use.
No stabilty issues so far, WiFi working very well.

For those with issues, did you a full NVRAM clear after the update?
You can't use settings backup from previous firmware versions, you need to re-enter all your settings manually.

Hi, what features do you use ? dhcp filters / traffic monitoring / QoS / disk sharing (samba/ftp,..) / trendmicro security / the 3 wifi bands / parent controls / .. and so on.. Maybe we will be able to figure out what is stable to be used and what is not...

Yup - full hard reset and all settings entered manually.

I always enabled Full AI Protection (after all its partly why I purchased this router over many others) and Bandwidth Monitor (along with app analysis) and also Traffic Analyser.

Disable All AICloud gubbins like Media sharing off the hard drive, which is why I can't figure out what this message is about in the logs:

Jun 12 23:02:58 disk_monitor: Got SIGALRM... - Anybody know what this is please?

So far 1Day 9hrs uptime - keeping a vigilant eye on it this time.

WIFI performance is definitely poorer than before - range isn't as good as it was before (and no I didn't used to change any 'power' etc settings - it was always as default)

WIFI Guest and all three bands are enabled - 2.4ghz and 5Ghz-1 are both on time schedules so switch off between 7pm and 7am.

Thats my standard config along with a couple of ports being open for my Synology 415+ NAS (sab, note, cctv + web)

Jun 12 23:02:58 disk_monitor: Got SIGALRM... - Anybody know what this is please?

This is the disk_monitor service doing it's scheduled daily scan.

Just same errors on mine too, eventually gives up with a wan add of o.o.o.o then needs a reboot to connect again
This must be an error introduced in the latest firmware, emailed support twice but no reply just hope they are red faced and working on a fast fix.
Before this it was fairly stable re the WAN.
Just keep sending feedback and Hope

When it does the WAN led either gets stuck red or stuck off (currently it's off. last time this happened it was red). And when it does the Internet status under network map shows as "The network cable is unplugged." and shows my WAN IP as 0.0.0.0 however my DNS servers show correctly as 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.76.76 (comcast). Despite this, I still have a working internet connection...

Unfortunately the power tripped so unable to say for sure what the uptime is supposed to be.

Problems experienced so far:
5Ghz-1 network keeps dropping - it is currently showing as "disabled" in the wireless log but its definately enabled in the GUI (not showing on any of my wireless devices though).

Also experienced the front button stops working (the one that turns off all the LED's) - tried rebooting and its still not working.

Dodgy dodgy firmware this.
