I have problems with AiDisk feature. I configured it once, detected correctly the USB devices (two flash drives), but can't access the disks from ftp. So, I made a factory reset and then load the settings from file and now, I got the message "No USB disk detected" when I click on USB Application>AiDisk, even the drive is recognized when I hover the mouse pointer on the top right, on USB icon. The same problem with both flash drives, using both USB ports from router, one at a time. Anyone know how to solve this?

I'm trying out the 4145 firmware that was just posted today with smart connect turned back on. Looks better so far...nothing is attaching to the 5GHz-1 network but all my Apple devices (iPhone 6, iPad Air 2, Apple TV's) are sticking to the 5GHZ-2 for now. Hopefully no more disconnects, but only time will tell.

Things are starting to move around more now...the Apple TV's and Dell XPS12 laptop have moved over to 5GHz-1 and the iPhone 6's are going between 5GHz-1 and -2. I haven't tested any streaming to see if I get disconnected but that's next when I get home from work.

Nice, thanks for letting the thread know it was up. I am testing now working from home and will see if I see the weird disconnects (hopefully not).

Merlin - when you get a chance, do you know if this has new drivers/sdks or anything?

Thanks

Which devices are dropping connection ? I notice Apple and some android devices drop connections and have a harder time re-establishing a connection , and not just on the 3200 but other routers as well .
Now using Beta 2 , all seems to be working well so far .

I see it primarily on my galaxy note 4... which is what I use most of the time. Not sure about other devices yet.

I am not seeing this firmware posted their site??

im seeing the same older fw .3883 with no newer fw being reported...maybe it was pulled

Mine new out of the box today said it needed and update via the auto update feature and it was updated to .3883

Several things appear broken, i.e. Traffic Analyzer so I called ASUS and they said go to website and get latest firmware...

I noticed 2 on asus site newer than my "you have the latest version" rev of 3883

So now I'm on 4145 but still no Traffic Analyzer fix. (APPS show "General")

Do you mean 4129?

On the support page if you tell it you have a 32 bit operating system it shows both 4129 and 4145. If you choose 64 bit then it only shows you 4129.

i realized that but i think there is no problem, the fw is the same for 32 or 64, they just forgot to add the files to x64 ones

Merlin

Do you recommend factory reset when we update to the new fw?

I can't answer that, as I have no idea what this new firmware changes.

You only have 3 devices and you bought an AC3200 router?

i wanted a good wifi range router.. and wanted the latest and best router available.
BUT.. this disconnections are killing me !

actually... the main issue is i still connected but i don't get internet for 30 seconds or more and then it returns !
