I agree, all firmware should be dated somewhere. Either tagged, or in the firmware number somewhere.

I had this exact complaint when I went to ASUS’ website to look at my motherboard BIOS/UEFI. I was trying to remember when it had come out, and all the dates were gone. I second it’s usefulness to have a view of support history and length.

twice now in the last 10 days my ax86s seems to go offline, unable to log into the router wired or wireless, dns not working, all router lights look normal, no issue. wired pc offline, wireless complains no internet.
the only way to correct that is a power cycle,

anyone have any ideas ??

Stock AX86S offline, needed power cycle this morning, wire lan down too

well, this was a first, going way back to a n66. wife turned the tv on, no ethernet message... umm... well, that's wired, and down. checked wife's tablet, 5ghz, connected without internet.. hmm, thinking charter/spectrum might be having issues.. went to the basement, pc wired direct to router...
