New Around Here
Hello everyone,

I just recieved the RT-N56U and upgraded to the latest firmware without any troubles.
Then I tried to connect my WD Elemets 2.5TB HD and now I'm stuck because it won't mount the device.
The HD is split into 2 partitions (1.5TB and ~900GB) using GPT and NTFS format.
Can anyone help me with this problem or is it normal that it takes more than an hour for the router to mount a HD that big?

Thanks for your time.

Does the RT-N56U claim it will support NTFS? Often, these Linux-based devices need to format their own non-NTFS file systems on the disk. Or support only FAT32 not NTFS. Or support only a Linux-oriented file system - where the RT-N56U would format the drive or partition.
