currently running my old nt-66u with lastest firmware until the ac-86u arrives.

I am going to give the usb dongle wan failover ago but what I want to be able to
Do it just let a selected lan client use the wan when it falls over.
Reason being I’m using a client as an alarm type interface and I want that to always have internet access but don’t want anything data intensive using up loads of the data from a per Pay sim I will be using in the dongle.

Does anyone have any ideas if this could be possible?

Cheers.

Is the selected device directly connected to a LAN port on the router?
