Upgraded my GT-AX6000 from 388.2_2 to 3004.388.4 beta1 and noticed that my ddns-start script now gets called non-stop, several times a minute. Definitely was not the case with 388.2_2. Everything else looks good.

Router AX58U.
Update to 3004.388.4beta1 after 18 days alpha without problem. Additionnal reboot made.
All is working except the channel utilisation in 2.4GHz. Not dispayed, but in the low level details, the utilisation is shown.
The radio temperatures are diplyed correctly in the graph.

RT-AX86U Pro
Firmware Update: 388.2_2 --> 3004.388.4_beta1
Thank you RMerlin!

Updated from 388.2_2, everything seems to be working but I have these messages in the log file every 3 seconds,,,,

Code:

Jul 27 10:29:39 acsd: acs_init_run(1111): acs_start eth6 cannot select chanspec with the wrong info
Jul 27 10:29:42 acsd: eth6: Selecting 5g band ACS policy
Jul 27 10:29:42 acsd: acs_init_run(1111): acs_start eth6 cannot select chanspec with the wrong info
Jul 27 10:29:45 acsd: eth6: Selecting 5g band ACS policy
Jul 27 10:29:45 acsd: acs_init_run(1111): acs_start eth6 cannot select chanspec with the wrong info
Jul 27 10:29:48 acsd: eth6: Selecting 5g band ACS policy
Jul 27 10:29:48 acsd: acs_init_run(1111): acs_start eth6 cannot select chanspec with the wrong info

EDIT: I found another post that suggested switching then 5G channel from 48-'Auto'-48 which seems to have stopped it for now. The other post suggests it might only be a temp fix.

Same on the 2x RT-AX58Us I flashed Beta 1 on, 2.4 GHz utilization was showing on Alpha 1 but not anymore on Beta 1. Low level details do show it tho. To note, my GT-AX11000 Pro does show 2.4 GHz utilization on the wireless page, so it's not affecting all routers,

I have same router (AX86S) also upgraded from 388.2 but I have a significant memory leak with ram usage going up 20% every 24hrs.

Can you confirm that your system memory / ram is stable?

My free memory is drifting between 30MB & 50MB, which is normal for my system.

Merlin did some adjustments right before building Beta 1 regarding utilization, so guess that made it disappear from a few models. Hope it can be fixed/reverted! :)

I notice on the 'Addons/scMerlin' page, the temperatures are blank.
They appear on the 'Tools/SysInfo' page.

Seamless update from alpha, nothing strange to report again. Thanks!

everything is good so far upgraded alpha to beta. only small issue is cake settings are capping speed around 250/130. regardless of whatever speed I manually add in it.
I hasn't done hard reset yet though.
having said that connection is very stable with no dramas at all.
thanks @RMerlin

How do you know that it is a memory leak? Have you checked your free memory (including caches, which will be returned to the system when required).

My memory hangs around 95% to 97% used all the time - yet when I look at what is actually going on, 30% to 40% is used by cache. That GUI memory report drives me nuts - it does not tell you the whole picture.
