Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.6 is now available

I bit the bullet last week on a new rt-be92u from UK Currys (£169). Came on Friday, I immediately put this latest firmware on and then setup mostly from scratch, I copied some of the NVRAM pieces over (Wireguard Server/Clients, DHCP reservations and names). It was working fine, although coming from a rt-ax92u, I noticed it is quite laggy on the webGui, with pages not always refreshing.

The strangest thing was I set a 1am Sunday reboot. I was up early and found no internet. I logged into the router at 5:11am and was surprised as it had an assigned WAN address from the ISP, so it was either routing table not updated or something else. PPPoE connection directly to a ONT over ethernet.
a restart of the WAN (click WAN on/off in Gui) fixed it.
See attached logs. I have obfuscated mac/ip/usernames

Any ideas on cause. I have disabled auto-reboot for now.

Disable IPv6 in your DDNS settings and reboot.

Thanks Ill start doing that. However, issue returned this morning. Windows 11 most up to date devices are not consistently being shown when connected to 6Ghz bands. I can go in and force a refresh and they come back for a bit but then they disappear again after a while. Not sure what's causing the issue but Ill like have to roll back a couple versions to check the behavior. I don't see anything in the debug log to indicate what's happening.
I have seen the same on BT10 (stock!!).
My investigations:
You have a multi-band network (5 and 6GHz)
You have disabled MLO completely (on 'Wireless', 'MLO').

If I enable MLO globally (on 'Wireless', 'MLO'). then they are shown correctly.
Note: You don't need to enable MLO backhaul on ANY networks.

Please try that and report back.
I think Asus is so keen on MLO that they have forgotten not everybody uses it.

Don't know if its the right place to post a bug, but this version on the AXE-16000, while in Adaptive QOS and trying to drag down the "Highest, High, Medium, Low, Default, etc" buttons, I get a window message box that pops up, "Max Limit:: 32".

Dirty Flash from 102_5

Yes, that’s a new,y enforced limit. But those priorities don’t do anything anyway unless you’re using Traditional QoS.

Yoooooooooooooooooooooooo, someone just get this man a coffee! This fixed the issues I was having with wifi 6 not showing in front menus and some weird performance dips I have been seeing on this version. MLO doesn't provide ANY benefits in any of my testing 6Ghz + 320Mhz is working better at normal distances from the router.

Good morning. First time poster, long-time user here.
I registered to mention that I've encountered a problem after update to 102.6 on my GT-AX6000. It's happened for the first time in three years of using it, even though I've always been doing dirty flash update.
The problem occurs in Openvpn server that is operating there; after approximately two hours of firmware's update, openvpn server stopped working. The only relevant message that the log had for me was:
Rich (BB code):
Nov 29 22:17:16 Mastiff: Got SIGTERM
Nov 29 22:17:21 ovpn-server1[23748]: event_wait : Interrupted system call (fd=-1,code=4)

and the subsequent info in Openvpn's server tab was "awaiting to initialize files" (or similar). Turning the server off and on again on that tab seemed to fix the issue, but it died again after two hours and a change. Router's reboot has not fixed the issue, so I returned to 102.5 and it's been working properly for three days and counting.

I assume the core reason for that incident was dirty flash upgrade, but I've been doing those countless times on many Merlin-driven devices through the years with no issues, so I thought it would be worth describing here.
