bues afternoon, I'm from Chile, I have the AC68U asus, I have updated up to 384.5, at the moment of updating with the next firmware, it remains as factory and it deletes all the configuration, it is done by resetting the equipment again and it does not stop doing anything, just I can do it until 384.5, I would appreciate your help from now thanks, greetings from Chile
Try to update to 384.8 and report again.

And sourecode also?
I think source code is typically released after the compiled code. It can be a month or more sometimes.

I'm on 384.8 which is working nicely. ASUS today released a new firmware Version 3.0.0.4.384.45149 for the RT-AC86

Do I have to do anything ? or just continue on Merlin's firmware. Any security effects ?

Did an upgrade to the new fw and I am having some issues with drops, the router just stop and says that there is no internet at all, I click on "reebot" and its done after the router coming back from bot...
any idea? AC86U over here

I can confirm on this one. Tried changing browsers (chromium, firefox, brave). Was thinking to do a factory reset and since you have the same problem even after factory reset, I think I can save my effort on that XD
I can confirm this issue also. I have done a factory reset with the same result - the Apply button in the OpenVPN page is inactive.

AC88U, dirty flash then reboot resulted in DHCP not handing out addresses. Setting manual IP per device only way in. I tried applying new DHCP settings but to no avail.

Factory reset and set up again resolved the problem and seems to work nicely.

Is the nvram backup script still updated/working? Would have been handy.

OK, i downloaded the 384.8 on my new AX88U, but where is my 80 Mhz band for the AC ?

Attached current firmware image and the one I am installing, but remains as is and if I restart the router returns to factory values

Try to remove any usb device and reboot and try to install again. Check sha256 on downloaded file.
IF that not working try to reset to factory default and try to install again.

It is flashed to occupy it with merlin, I have been installing firmware for more than a year and no problem, only now I can not update, I have tried with factory values and nothing

Did you read the link?
It doesn't matter whether you converted it, hacked it, repainted it, or whatever. Stop asking on the forums for help flashing your RT-AC68U when you actually have a TM-AC1900 - it's NOT supported, period.
