Version 386.5 on AX88U => still rock solid, no problem for 21 days...

Hi, I updated my ac5300 to 386.5 several weeks ago. I notice a ton of the below log entries, the mac address changes in the log, below is a sample of one of the macs (not always the same connection). I searched the forum, I see a few others with this, did not see a reason or solution? I am running AiMesh with an ac86U wired and ac68u wireless mode. The mac addresses in the log are not the aiMesh routers. Any assistance is apprecaited....

4 hours later up and running, complete clean reinstall, factory reset, all settings re-entered manually from screen shots, jffs formatted, entware, skynet, flex, led clean install.

Seems the same apart from the A icon on the Asus login on firefox. 4 Hours well spent ;)

That's the end of my 90 days uptime.

Just Rsync left to redo based on the fantastic guide a wise man wrote a few months back. (tick done now)

Oh pro tip, when you format your ext4 partition with minitool, dont forget to click apply before you take it downstairs and plug it back in, then go back upstairs to install your jffs stuff. Trust me it will save you a walk.

and another observation. Have they FINALLY fixed this bug from showing in the logs:

Dec 28 16:43:51 kernel: CONSOLE: 196296.509 wl1: wlc_ampdu_recv_addba_resp: r4:x0:x1:x6:x6:ec: Failed. status 37 wsize 64 policy 1

It is no longer appearing in my log (something to do with google devices)

Oh how i miss reading that between every skynet block...... At last.

Uptime 11 minutes, see you in 100 days.

Merlin might buy you another coffee after 50 days. If you're lucky.

Quick dirty install before anyone noticed in the house.

All good thus far. 2 firmware updates in 1 day. 1 major. 1 minor. If you release another one within a month, the offer of a coffee is void.

Sweet I usually don't do mid day firmware updates when i'm working from home but think I can do this quickly as i'm going on lunch thank you sir.

It's ok, I'm a tea drinker anyway. :)
Ahh a man of culture lol

i'm a tea and hot chocolate guy myself don't touch coffee.

As usual, it took longer to DL, unzip, verify hash than to install and reboot.
All good here so far - Thanks Maestro!

Upgrade RT-AX88U & RT-AC3100 from V386.5_1-g8858f16344 to V386.5_2 Final via dirty firmware upgrade. 40+ devices (includes gaming, streaming, downloads, many IOT devices, etc.) and all appears to be working for main AX88U & backup AC3100 routers. Still postponing adding RT-AX58U with V386.5 XXX into AiMesh 2.0, until Guest Network #01 issue is fixed, as Guest network is #01, and IOT devices is #02 currently in my setup.

AX68U upgraded to 386.5_2 from 386.5_1 without problems this time.

AX86U and AX58U upgraded to 386.5_2 from 386.5_1 without any issues to report at this time.

Tell bad actors to stop finding new security holes, so I don't have to update components between major releases.

So glad to hear that, never trusted coffee drinkers anyway. Can't been a good Assam. Thanks for the work.

Updated mid day, not something I normally do but we had the day off of work. Everything seems to be connected and working well.

Rt-AX88U seems working fine except for this log which is the first time I've seen. DDNS looks functional though.

Dirty updated my AC88U from 386_5 to 386_5_2. Afterward some devices were having issues getting an IPV6 address from DHCP, but I’ve seen that before. A router reboot usually fixes it and it did. Other than that, so far no issues.

There was a 386.5_1???

Yes as a test version before 386.5_2 was released.
