Im late to the party but any solution? I have the EXACT same problem and asus already replaced the router once.
I changed my router, changed cables from utp5 to stp8 back to utp6, have tried resetting, I harassed my isp over internet signal and still seems like the router is briefly disconnecting every device I use once every hour or 3.
