left off the change log,
webui: allow changing image for device vendors with a quote (like "Micro-star int'l co., ltd.")

I can happily report that I can assign the images for MSI based devices again :)

I have tested beta1 awhile, => Uptime 3 days 20 hours 47 minute(s) 8 seconds

Have discovered when use DFS channel in my case 100 or 112 and automatic switch to channel when detect "radar" to channel 36.
Gui on "system log=> wireless log" and "wireless=> general" channel not change to moved channel,
displaying channel 100 or 112 instead of channel 36.

The info I display is retrieved directly from the wireless driver, so it's outside of my control.

What? BRCM has bugs? Say its not so!!

In a prior life, we had direct support from BRCM to solve these kinds of issues. I'm sure Asus also has the level of support from them.

Asuswrt-Merlin 384.8 Beta is now available. As we bid farewell to the RT-AC56U (now officially EOL by Asus), we also welcome a newcomer, the RT-AX88U. The RT-AC87U and RT-AC3200 are not supported by this release (no updated binary blobs from Asus for these two models

I would say farewell to the AC3200 too, it's been 2 releases without support for this router :( :(

Not necessarily, Asus hasn't added it to the EOL list yet. The RT-AC3200 always had less frequent updates than other models.

I was having terrible problems with my RT-AC86 in bridge mode, and beta1 so far is working great! I was on 384.7_2 before, and I was rebooting sometimes every day just to get basic routing to work. It's a bit early to celebrate, but 384.8_beta1 has been running without any problems for just over two days.

Thanks for the continuous updates :) I need to wireshark my home my speedtest are utterly useless for me. I have to go to basement and plug into the ATT modem to get a general idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated this is the same laptop as well :)

working fine so far..........:)

Uptime 0 days 0 hours 8 minute(s) 49 seconds

On the RT-AX88U I can't enable openvpn server #2
I haven't tried it yet on any other version then beta 2.
I've tried the default settings, the same settings as #1 (of course disabling #1 to test #2)
Somehow it keeps saying it failed to start.

Latest Beta 2 running great.

Thanks RMerlin
