Cisco/iPhone VPN issues

Hi, First post, so be gentle
I've bought myself a Cisco RV180W to connect to my Infinity BB service.
The purpose of the VPN is to enable me to use my iPhone/iPad when I travel around and access my Sky Go, BBC iPlayer apps etc.
I have the router element with wi-fi working just fine.
I've hit a wall when trying to configure the VPN (it's totally new to me).
I'm trying to create some test account on the router and the iphone working on 3G but i'm getting nowhere.
Has anyone done this that could give me a few pointers?
I'll try and post a few screenshots.

I'm still struggling with some of these settings, I've tried lots of different configurations. I think it's more the fact I don't understand the terminology.
And I believe there may be additional settings that I need to configure in the router to enable the full VPN settings.

Could someone tell me what these IP settings used for?

Endpoint Information
Remote Gateway Type: IP AddressFQDN
Remote WANs IP Address / FQDN: Please enter the remote node's IP address or WAN (Internet) name

Secure Connection Remote Accessibility
Remote LAN (Local Network) IP Address: (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) Invalid IP address
Remote LAN (Local Network) Subnet Mask: (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) Please enter Subnet Mask.
Local LAN (Local Network) IP Address: (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) Invalid IP address

As I am setting up the router to be a stand alone unit for iPhones, ipads and Macs to connect to I think I should be configuring the router to connect to a VPN client, not a gateway. Is that correct?
