New Around Here
Hello, I am kind of new to NAS.

Bought a new DNS-321 with two 1TB Hitachi 1TB Deskstar 7K1000.B SATA.

Identifying the HD was a problem, but was able to solve this problem. By rebooting DNS-321. DNS-321 configured to run as RAID-1.

My new problem is that on logging into the server, I am gettnig the message typed below.

"The hard drives have been installed incorrectly. Please power off and swap hard drive locations".

I have not opened DNS-321 cover, nor dropped the server on the floor etc.
The only change I did was to move the LAN port to another free socket, ran the software that came with the DLink to seek the new port number.

for example the last port address was 192.168.0.199
changed to 192.168.0.198

Need help on this.... Thanks.

I also tried swapping the HD, same error pops up.
