fsmd - taking lots of CPU cycles

When running htop, I'm seeing a process called fsmd consuming between 5%-10% of CPU.
I see it's located in /usr/sbin and the date on the file is the same as all the other executables in the directory.

A Google search only had a hit - called Finite State Machine with Datapath.

I don't believe I have ever seen this, or at least seen it taking so many cycles.

Anyone have any advice. I can reboot and see if it comes back...
