I was wondering if there is a way to configure a computer that is attached through Verizon MoCA so that it gets an IP address from a router that is attached to the Verizon FIOS Modem so that it is on the same subnet as my other computers.

Code:
Verizon Modem <----------> Nighthawk X4 (DHCP Svr)
                       192.168.1.* 192.168.2.*
                            | |
  HTPC | |- PC WHS 2011
  Windows 7 -------ECB3500T01 (MoCA) |- PC Windows 7
My goal is to have the HTPC running W7 on the same subnet as the other PC's so that things like WHS Backup and other file services work properly.
Thanks for any advice you can give.

First the Verizon device, if you are on FIOS, is not a modem it is a router.

If you want everything on the same subnet to make sharing network resources easy, then set the Nighthawk up as an AP.

The next easiest option is to have Verizon, again if you have FIOS, put your OTN into a mode where its output is over Ethernet and make your Nighthawk the primary and only router. There will be issues with the guide and PPV if you subscribe to FIOS CATV.

Finally if you have the patience and skills you can set up custom routing and iptables so you can share resources between subnets. Search this site for guides on how to accomplish this.

You'll have to route between the networks, or else setup the Nighthawk as an access point and just run the Verizon Actiontec box as the router.

Because it is providing bridge functionality for both WAN AND LAN bridging, it isn't possible to put it on the same subnet as what is behind the Netgear, so the only solutions are custom routing tables for everything to get too and fro, or else setting the Nighthawk in to AP mode, so that nothing is actually behind it.

That or get another MoCA LAN bridge so that you aren't bridging on the LAN through the Actiontec.
