How do I find my router on john fork

Hi guy how can I find my router on john fork I have an RT-N66U and I would like to try out John fork but I don't want to brick my router how do I find my router model #/version on john fork can any one point me to the right direction thanks you in advance I'm sorry to bother you. Some times people get offended for asking questions my intention is not to piss u off

One thing to keep in mind....moving from a Merlin build to the fork you will have to use the Firmware Restoration Tool or the CFE mini web server. Be aware that writing the flash on the N66 with these is SLOW.....be patient.....it can take an hour (or more) for it to complete. Most people let it sit over night.

According to WikiDevi it looks like it's the same as the RT-AC66U_B1 although that's not been confirmed here yet. If that information is correct then it should work.

Do you have one? Can you confirm the hardware details?

AsusWRT-firmware is exactly the same like for all other RT-AC68U types and RT-AC66U_B1, so I cant see any problem with it to use Merlin or John.
