I have a 1930’s three-floor residential home with approximately 1,500 sq. ft. per floor. Walls are thick plaster over lath creating dead zones for wireless. Most rooms have Cat-6 Ethernet installed for hard-wired devices. Currently, I have the router on the main level and AP on the upper level both sharing the same SSID, and has worked very well.
I want to install another AP on the lower level and came across a similar product (LAPAC1750C) for under $100. I have no interest in the extras (Cloud Manager, etc) and only want to use it for the same AP basic features as the LAPAC1750. Many thanks.
QUESTION: Will the LAPAC1750C work as an AP similar to the LAPAC1750 ?
-- Upper level Access Point Linksys LAPAC1750 (AC1750)
-- Main level Router Linksys EA6900 (AC1900)
-- Lower level Access Point Linksys LAPAC1750C (AC1750)
