Whenever I try to login with router.asus.com it takes me to www.asus.com. Or when I try to https://router.asus.com:8443/ I get a no connection error. Can anybody help me with this?
This setting "Redirect webui access to router.asus.com" must be enabled. You can find it under Administration>System Tab.Whenever I try to login with router.asus.com it takes me to www.asus.com. You will get this if you are bypassing the router's DNS server, by using something like DNSFilter or a VPN client.Whenever I try to login with router.asus.com it takes me to www.asus.com. Or when I try to https://router.asus.com:8443/ I get a no connection error. Can anybody help me with this?
Yeah, it was the DNSFilter I had on. I turned it off, but I still couldn't log on with router.asus.com. So I did a restore and then reloaded a backup that didn't have the DNSFilter enabled and now everything works fine. Oh, it does work behind my VPN client. Thanks for the reply and the advice from you and skeal. You will get this if you are bypassing the router's DNS server, by using something like DNSFilter or a VPN client.
