I have a use case for a DD-WRT compatible router that can handle the following:
The routers will be used in a network of cafe-style hotspots in remote locations so stability is key since the personnel in those areas may not have the knowledge or desire to powercycle constantly.
Any suggestions on routers that can handle these kinds of demands? What kind of DD-WRT powered router would you trust if you had to deploy them in multiple remote locations?
- Heavy traffic and connections (~30 simultaneous connections, I imagine at least 15-20 of them will be trying to download movies or other large files)
- The QOS/traffic shaping demands of those ~30 users
- Range of about 200-300 feet
- STABLE (can't stress that enough)
