MTD10 repair help

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my gtaxe16000 and a member has offered to help but we need a pristine config file (Administration - Restore/Save/Upload Setting) and I don’t have one. Does anybody have one of these routers and can provide the file for us?

You do not need a config file. Do a reset with initialize or a hard factory reset and start over configuring the router.

That won't help if his mtd10 partition is corrupted (as per the title). However, it may help if he has a different problem.

So I disabled custom scripts (running asus merlin firmware) and rebooted and the router would not boot. I am assuming that the failure to boot has nothing to do with having disabled custom scripts. I have tried every conceivable method to get it to boot into recovery mode or hard factory reset using the reset button and power or wps button and power. Unless someone has a method to unbrick this router (it comes up with just the internet, 10gbe and power lights) I am going to replace it. Luckily I had my old AC5300 still sitting around and was able to get it back up and running before my family went crazy.

Did you have all USB devices and ethernet cables removed when trying to put it into recovery mode?

Yes. It was sitting on my workbench with nothing but power connected. It is currently sitting there with nothing connected since someone suggested leaving it that way for 24 hours. I’m skeptical but what can it hurt?

I received my new router yesterday and got everything set up. It's all working fine so far. Thanks for your time and assistance.
