Need advise in getting a reasonably priced internet connection in a commercial location

Helping a family member to find a solution to access internet in his warehouse located in Ontario, CA. Currently he operates a small warehouse, family business, about a dozen employees, all need reliable internet access to perform usual work duty. Same as many other location in the US, this address is only serviced by a single telecom company, Verizon. Since this is business address and all that, they're charging an outrageous amount for 4 phone lines and a DSL connection. ($550/month). This would still be acceptable if the internet speed is 30 MBps or even 15MBps. Nope, we're getting like 3 MBps, and when everyone is sending and receiving email attachments the whole business comes to a halt. I've checked with a couple of cable provider, either they don't service the location, or in the case of TWC, it says we can get a dedicated cable line for >$8000 upfront onetime installation fee. This obviously is not gonna work for a small family owned business. A few months ago we got a satellite internet company to put in a dish, at peak we got about 6MBps, but the ping is off the chart, almost one full second. I understand the request has to go all the way up space and come back down, but come on, we're in 2016, I can't believe there isn't a better option. What I'm really hoping is a reliable line, 30/5 MBps. Something I'm paying $35 a month at home, and I'm willing to pay $350 a month there if it works. Details: 20-30 internet devices are connected to the router, PCs, laptops, cameras, cell phones, printers, and a NAS. Total monthly usage no more than 50Gb. No need of static IP, we don't host website nor mail server. Only need to access NAS and camera from outside, dynamic IP works. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Edit: typo. Reasonably priced

$550 a month? The smart decision is to pay for that $8K 'one time fee' and work out a special deal for the internet and phones for the next few months/years. You can haggle on that one time payment too (you may be able to do some of that work yourself, or maybe subcontract it cheaper).

In just over a year (less than 15 months), the family owned business will be saving huge money on their phone/internet bills. Short term hardship ($8K 'now') versus long term highway robbery.

As a business case, this is an easy one to make a decision on for me.

It's not like the need for telephones or ever faster internet will ever decrease in need. ;)

I assume the DSL provider you contacted was Bell. Look at a TPIA provider, such as Teksavvy (we actually resell for them in Quebec, excellent service in general), see what they can get you at their location. They offer both DSL (through Bell's copper lines) and cable (through Rogers in Ontario), where available.

If you can get a decent Internet connection, look at going VoIP for the phone. Bell landlines are ridiculously priced, especially for businesses. Callcentric and voip.ms are two providers I recommend looking into. Hook them through an ATA (I use a Cisco SPA112 at home, but plenty of other good alternatives are also available). Even if it means paying possibly for a second DSL connection dedicated to the phone (if the DSL link rate is too low), it would still be cheaper than paying Bell for business landlines.
