Hello. I updated my router to the current firmware, then rebooted and all was well in the world and I logged out.
Now if I enter 192.168.1.1 it goes into an automatic check for the Internet then errors (404). When the lan cable from the modem is connected the results are the same. I have touched nothing. It goes to look for some page but cannot find it. The DNS is configured.
Must I have the modem attached to set the router up? Seems a bit odd.
Does anyone have an idea what went wrong and how I get back in? I tried holding the reset button in for 5 seconds but it always comes back up the same.
