Just wondering if there is a new Broadcom driver to solve the 5 GHz band problem.....

AFAIK DD-WRT is using SDK 5.100.

The connection speed fo the pc/laptop with Asus USB-N53 get a spped of 135 Mbit/s or 270 Mbit/s and the the signal strength level drops drops out of the blue for about -20 dBm. Have to restart the wireless to get the signal strength up again. If you like in the forum thred this has been in a pain my arse for more than 6 months now....-

Ok , I will try it anyway , fed up waiting for Asus/Broadcom delivering a new stable driver.3.0.0.4.372.0 installed with the drivers
Update : my AC66U has Asus f/w 3.0.0.4.372.0 with the Broadcom drivers :
6.30.102.9 (r366174)

Ah, you're talking about AC66U 5 GHz. I never had any problem with it myself, with any of the FW versions I used over time.

No idea which driver DD-WRT uses for the 802.11ac.

Yes, we are a couple who have this problem but why should everything work for everybody....
