Odd GUI issue with Asus Routers

.....regarding Merlin firmware. Doesn't seem to be much traction so thought I'd ask the same question here regarding Asus firmware being used on the router vs 3rd party Merlin. The issue does not appear when using Edge browser and only appears using Firefox. So the question remains is this a specific coding issue with Merlin or with Firefox? Since I don't have a router with Asus firmware I am wondering if those using the original Asus firmware might be seeing the same GUI glitch?

And if you don't read the original topic what I am seeing is once logged in to the router Admin interface from the main(index) page select View List under Clients. So now one is viewing all the connected devices. For those with a longer list of connected hardware you have to scroll down to view more clients. However once you scroll down after 1 or 2 seconds the list jumps back to the top and the lower connected clients do not remain in view anymore so now you have to scroll down again only to repeat jumping back to the top of the list. Again this only occurs while using Firefox, even in Safe Mode. While Edge does not do this.

No issues here and Firefox is the only browser I use on Linux, Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android.

no problems here on firefox when i click view list.

stock firmware
clients active 30-40

Tested on a different Windows PC, one running Windows 11 Home 25H2 and Firefox v145 (64-bit). Issue persists just like it did on a Windows 10 PC running Firefox when accessing a RT-AX86U Pro running 3006.102.5. The Client List (either Show By All or Show By Interface) will jump back to the top after a second or two when scrolling to the bottom of the list. Currently 18 or so clients in the Client List. A mix of wired and wireless (both main LAN wifi and Guest Network Pro IoT wifi). IP addresses are manually set (using YazDHCP v1.2.3). Firefox browser console attached.

I get this same jumpy behavior on a Mac with Firefox browser with about 30 devices. Using the latest Asus firmware on the ZenWiFi BT10. Been this way some time. However, when I check the client list using the Safari browser, I don't see this, all steady there. Haven't tried Edge yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's okay, too. Too bad, since it makes the client list useless on my favorite browser.

I have reported this to Asus via the web admin GUI "Feedback", but not holding my breath.

I too have noticed this with both the latest (as of this post) Firefox and Librewolf on Win11Pro 25H2 and Linux Mint 22.2. Seems to work fine using Edge, and Chrome (portable).

Okay so this is duplicated within the Asus firmware as well. If so then perhaps the Merlin firmware merely duplicates the original problem. Like you I only began noticing the issue several months ago. It had been working normally for years. Kinda thinking it might get resolved with later firmware updates, not realizing it was actually a Browser issue. So the question remains is this a browser issue or firmware issue? Something changed within the Asus firmware or something needs changing with Firefox.
