Hi Guys!

I'm working with stockmarket and I need a router to do the failover, so I found that both RT-AC68P and RT-AC87U have dual wan configuration with failover option on it, I already have 2 links (120mb cable and 200mb fiber) so my question is: Is the RT-AC68P good enough to do the job or it's better to go with the RT-AC87U?
My main need is the failover, I don't need vpn, storange or an outstanding wifi.

Thanks!

The CPU/RAM is almost identical in both models. Go for the RT-AC68P, it's a more stable product on the wifi front.

The 87U is challenged enough... I'd suggest keeping it simple with this device.

Keep it simple - it works, and folks that keep it simple seem to be happy - we hear mostly from folks that don't, and want to tinker...

WRT the 87U - Just stay away from LAN1 (which is shared with the Quantenna 5GHz chip)...
