I recently helped my cousin install an RT-AC68U router. She likes to use time blocking for her kid's computer. The problem is that when she enables the time block for that machine (hard wired to the router), it ends up blocking access all the time. She does use K9 on his computer, along with using OpenDNS for their home network.
Could K9 or OpenDNS be causing interference with the router?? Or does the time block only work with wireless devices?? I truly wish that operating systems had the ability to do time blocking built in - it would make life a lot easier.
If anyone has any ideas, your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
